Austrian *Nockerl* belong to the wide range of the famous confection of pastry. They are basically made of flour, eggs, milk or sour cream and finally cooked in hot salted water. This one got its special flavour by chopped almonds and chocolate. The pear slice was cooked in red wine.
Would you believe the price for both the fish of the pic below and this dessert was 7,20 Euro (the vegetarian alternative with spinach dumplings was only 6,90 Euro). The dessert alone was worth 7 Euro easily.
