Surely burlesque dancer Nasty Canasta will never be lonely with affectionate undergarments like these. She's dancing go-go before the Friday night revue at the Slipper Room here.

It's a day or two before New Year 2006 when I take this shot - my EOS Digital Rebel XT is shiny, new, and strange in my hands, a welcome step up from the Olympus point and shoot. This is the first night I take it out. I figure, if you're going to break in a new camera, this is the way to do it.

All hands on deck. I guess Nasty is, uh, handy in a pinch.
