I made this for a show I did back in September as a check-me-out showoff piece and I'm really rather proud of it. A single-strand center of Peruvian opal, Bali silver and sterling silver ball beads opens up into a double strand of silver, opal and tourmalinated quartz and is finished with a sterling silver toggle.

I haven't made any jewelry for almost 9 months now; I was kinda burned out after the show, and also the gemstones and the silver get prohibitively expensive after awhile. I do love it, though, and will get back to it at some point, I'm sure. Probably when the weather gets warmer. Right now it's cold and I am obsessed with making snuggly things out of yarn. (I have all these crafts I do, but I can never seem to make myself focus on more than one at a time.)

Better larger, perhaps.
