my tumbler

I made this, with help from samantha, last week. I've been working at a glassblowing studio for almost a year and have tried unsuccessfully, to make smaller things, like beads. This tumbler is made with cranberry frit and three gathers of glass. After one of the gathers, we put it into a mold and then blocked it slightly before adding another gather on top to trap the bubbles in. Then more blowing and blocking. It may be crude, but I'm terribly proud of it.
