Mermaid: Is the Sea not wonderous? The wild waves reaching into the sky?

Man: Yes, it is truly wonderous, as are you, magickal creature...

Mermaid: Are the colors not enchanting? The shifting blues and greens dance for us.

Man: Not nearly as enchanting as you, my dear...

Mermaid: And beneath, treasures and beautiful things to behold, more than you could ever dream.

Man: You are the dream, my dear Mermaid, and I shall love you forever...

Mermaid: Then stay with me, here by the wild and wonderful Sea, and I will love you eternally...

But the Man turned and walked away, for Man will always return to the warmth of Home and Hearth... Enchanted by the things of the Sea, yet too afraid to embrace them.
