Actually I think it's more like "Loi" in Chinese. She learned Cantonese in Kindergarden, and when we were about to leave San Francisco I went to an excellent local calligrapher and had this made from her. She doesn't remember much of the spoken language but I think having Learned to write in Chinese is the reason her handwriting is so good.
