This is for a Utata Iron Photographer, (at least one straight edge, a reflective surface a body part.)

It's also a tart filled with chocolate and blackberry ganache. (I love that word)

It was an opportunity to use up sweet-pastry that was left over after mince pie making, and blackberry Jelly that my friend Jo had made.

Making it helped me get over the flu, and it's an easy and very grown up dessert to take with us tonight.

Happy New Year folks, I know that all problems can't be solved with chocolate and cream, but it can be a very good place to start.
