Long Island birches in the fall — 1979

Before I regale you with snowy photos of South Dakota, here's one of my images
from my original AE-1 shutterbug period. This beautiful set of trees was across the
street from the house where I grew up on Long Island. I know the house isn't there anymore, but perhaps my sister could fill us in on the fate of these beautiful arbors.
I love both the color cast and long shadows caused by the afternoon sun!
