This photograph was taken in an Indian village off the beaten track. The workers in the village were showing their skills and trying to sell their wares and the children of the village were hanging off of us tourists ,a dozen each.

Again I wandered away from the main crowd and looked through a doorway to see this figure in this pose but looking off to one side. I positioned myself to take the shot, and as I did the woman turned her head. Click.

Even after I had taken the shot and lowered my camera she didn't move. I was pleased with the quality of the light here and the way the sun reflecting off the wall behind shines through her sari.
