I've been inspired by Toyfoto's homages to the master surrealist, Loretta Lux, and wanted to attempt one of my own. I could not reproduce the wonderful hues found in Lux's work, or the fascinatingly sparse landscapes in which she placed her subjects...nor could I convince my daughter to maintain a completely somber expression on her face...nevertheless, I like how this turned out.
