Old Cats

Doug Rosenoff

In case you're wondering why Fang's tongue is sticking out, it's because he has a bit of a birth defect: his right lower jaw mandible is longer than his left one, giving him his namesake canine launching into space. His tongue is also about one-half inch too long for his mouth and so the tip sticks out all the time, giving him a vaguely humorous appearance. None of that bothers him though, but after 18 years he's slowing down. He's still the Lord of All He Surveys however.

Update: Today, 7 September 2006, at 12:30 PM Pacific Time, Fang passed on, leaving this mortal world behind.

He was much loved and is sorely missed. His was a larger than life playful spirit, a loving heart and a powerful will to live. It's a bitter world that robs such souls of their body before their spirit.

Rest in Peace Little Warrior, Best and Oldest Friend. In some other green and lovely place, where the sun shines brightly after the gentle rains of night, you are as big as you always thought you were, the world is yours, and you are strong, healthy, and happy again.
