Ok, Lunatic, is this more what you had in mind? Not as good a BG (I think) but seems to be the closest to the pose people are missing in this series...

Utata: One of my early sessions, it taught me alot.

At the time, I often didn't know what I wanted until I saw it, and couldn't articulate why. That's sometimes still the case, but I'm getting better at figuring it out after the fact. ;)

I love to fill the frame on one side or another, bring all the elements together in an unexpected way. In this case, Rameka looked stiff just standing there and the flowers were awkwardly placed. I had her bring the lilies up and look down toward them to make her face form the corner of the frame. It still looked unnatural until bringing her other hand up to touch her hair, then it just seemed to find balance between the colors and proportions, hopefully without looking too overtly posed.
