Dad's Anatomy Book

This book is without a doubt the best anatomy book for artists that I have ever found. My sister and I grew up looking through this book and trying to improve our drawings after leafing through it. The drawings are so well done, the text is concise and elegant. They do not make anatomy books like this anymore. My dad bought this book back when he was in art school and he kept it in great condition for decades. When I went to art school he dug it out and gave it to me. It's really the best present he ever gave to me. I found his signature dated January 1949, and in my art school ego at the time, I added my own signature dated January 1989, forty years later. I carried it around in my backpack for several years, studying it, and it's much worse for wear now. I hope to keep this book for many more decades. And maybe it'll get passed down again, who knows...
