This is a lovely multi-volume set, with marbled end papers and page edges. The type and illustrations are wonderful. I actually own two sets of this—a reader and a keeper, as I call them. The reader is not in great condition. The keeper includes an atlas. It is filled with beautiful, multi-colored maps. Several people have told me how valuable the atlas would be if I just cut it into separate maps and sold the maps individually. Clearly, these are not book people. Luckily, I have two daughters who ARE book people, so I never have to worry about this lovely set falling into the wrong hands.
