Darter

taka_itaha

Sympetrum vulgatum, Vagrant Darter.

Dragonflies can be hairy. The hairs on their legs are for catching their prey, small insects. This one also should have a "moustache". No hair. But a line along its eye that is one of the things that seperates it from its look-a-like Sympetrum striolatum.
