The Living Room

Ian Blum

This is my first attempt with my new pinhole camera. It has a polaroid back and this image was taken using #51 high contrast polaroid film. I bought this film because you can also salvage the negatives which produce nice crisp images at 80 ISO with a good tonal range. The negative is very different than this high contrast positive but you can only expose for one or the other since the positive exposes at a much higher ISO (around 640). I got excited and wanted to see how my first image would turn out, so I used the positive. I like it, it's very unexpected.
