Unchanging Summer

Sometimes life isn't just still. It is totally unchanging. These things out front of my house symbolize that lack of change and movement. The broken basketball hoop, and the unkempt hose, neither has moved even an inch since the beginning of summer. Laziness or lack of interest, either one, life is sometimes very still.
