My daughter on our after-dinner walk. We had pizza. =)

I had been letting her pick dandelions on the fringes of people's lawns, and then while I was snapping photos she picked someone's very beautiful flowers so I was attempting to explain why that was not really an OK thing to do.

She was mad. She felt pretty strongly that the flowers were rightfully hers.

It struck me then that ownership was one of those ideas that will need some additional clarification.
