Truth be told, these are my favorite kind of shots to take. Shots that capture the beauty of our world. The beauty of our surroundings. The beauty that can be found right in our own backyard. I can't travel to distant lands or scenic places to find beauty. I have to find it where and when I can. This is Mountain Park. A small lake in an old fashioned cottage community that was once a weekend retreat for wealthy Atlantans. Now, it's just another neighborhood. For me, it will always be a beautiful, special place. The place I went with the 3 most cherised people in my life to find some peace and come back home. Come back home from the edge of despair while on the brink of disaster...
