Hawgflection

David Elliott

There is a place on the Halifax waterfront that attracts throngs of bikers, their chromed and polished machines lined up in neat rows. This one offered the opportunity to take the obligatory "self portrait in a reflection from a Harley's crankcase cover" picture (No serious photographer should be without one).

Under my right arm (to your right - it is a reflection, after all) you can see the bemused owner who sauntered over wondering what the f*ck I was doing so close to his hawg. I explained the whole "self portrait in a reflection from a Harley's crankcase cover" schtick to him and we parted on good terms. Whew!
