Utata thursday walk 21

Robert Harper

There is a big harvest moon at the moment. The nights are drawing in and it is getting dark quite early. I wanted to get out and catch the moon as it was rising, but it was raining hard, When it eased off I went out for a walk and set up the tripod on a streach of tree lined road, still wet from rain, and the task was to catch a couple of things. The moon in the sky, but the clouds kept getting in the way, and the tail-lights of a car going down the hill, but they never seemed to be going at the right speed. I took over 60 photos. Sometimes the moon was blacked out by clouds. Sometimes instead of tail-light the shot was spoiled by headlights coming the other way. A 15 second exposure is a long time. This was my best shot from the night
