Prior to his tenure as the Executive Director of the NSGA (Nova Scotia Golf Association) my father was president of this golf course twice and lived very close to it for nearly twenty years - and once or twice within walking distance from it. He was sometimes referred to as "the pope" of golf rules, I am told.
