Stouchie

These traditional Thai-style dwelling houses built of wood were photographed high up in the mountain jungle of Mount Ka in Northern Thailand. These traditional houses normally have no interior walls and consist of one single large room. Though areas would be set aside for eating (crossed legged from a large mat on the floor) a living area and a sleeping area. The family would also sleep on top of a mat on the floor. This simple lifestyle still coninues today though they now have electricity and some modern comforts such as television.
