I had the day to myself today, with no set agenda. What to do? I could have spent the whole day doing chores, but part of the idea was to rest up, since the radiation has left me quite tired. I ended up drawing. Ah, the relief of getting the itch scratched a bit. And ah, thank god I haven't totally lost my skills, even though I didn't just dive into a full painting. I just drew. And maybe that's good enough. Maybe not everything has to end up as a finished polished color painting to have value. Maybe sometimes sketches are finished objects by themselves.
