Not that I've been making any jewelry lately, but if I were, these would be the things I'd use. Among others. These are the major players.

In case you're interested (and even if you're not), clockwise from top: wire cutters, crimping pliers, roundnose pliers, wire cutters, nylon-nose pliers, micro crimping pliers (for small crimp beads, obviously).
