The first place to look was, of course, Morecambe's statue of the comedian Eric Morecambe. There are always people here. The British really love this guy. They travel hundreds of miles, hug him, pose with him, sing Morecambe and Wise's theme tune, 'Bring me Sunshine' with him. Most of all they photograph him and themselves with him.
