Reckless Abandonment
A wise man once told me that the only way to get rid of temptation was to give in to it completely.
With crystal clarity, I knew what I had to do. I was going to give in.
Consequences be damned. I knew I would pay a heavy price for it. But I could not hold myself back any longer. I knew the path I was compelled to take.
Reality and responsibility became a blur. My universe shrank and became comprised of only me and the longing. My temptation. And I breathed again.
With reckless abandonment, I dashed to my destiny.
