It's still a dining room, whatever else we use it for. We still eat there, for the time being. We eat at a 40 year old pine table that belonged to my parents before their kids left home and they downsized. It doesn't really go with the Victorian architectural detail, the piano, the flag, the clock, the beautiful/horrible butterfly or gym equipment. But it does go wonderfully well with family and pasta and that's just fine by me.
