Longing. George Eliot writes, “It seems to me we can never give up longing And wishing while we are thoroughly alive. There are certain things we feel to be beautiful and good, And we must hunger after them.” With this photograph, *syzygynick offers up that quintessential aspect of longing; the soul searching journey that we all take at one time or another. This image asks the questions we all have: What is out there? What is being watched? What is being longed for and why? Perhaps the answers are in our own reflections, waiting to be noticed.
