The Writer Greets The Sun

Our sense of perspective, often trapped in the familiar, is easily confused. Whether beholding the earth from the moon or standing next to Paul Bunyon’s axe, we marvel at changes in our sense of perspective, delighting in the altered perceptions of ourselves against familiar objects in unfamiliar scale. At this desk, thirty feet tall, containing over a thousands pounds of wood, called The Writer and created by Giancarlo Neri, one might not write the great novel, but a grand one could surely be penned, one imagines. It’s all in the perspective.
