Panic! At The Disco

Apparently our scientific community has been able to successfully put mice and even dogs into suspended animation and revive them hours later. Every year we watch trees and perennials go into a dormant phase and who hasn’t wondered, at some point, how the heck a bear could actually sleep for up to seven months. Sleep! For seven months!

But people … well, people are a different story. Although I do know a few people who would probably like to sleep for months at a time, we have not yet been able to master the biological techniques. No, people are always moving about – breathing, twitching, dancing, working, walking, fucking, eating, climbing, coming, going and all things in between. No, no – catching one of us in a moment of suspended animation takes a little luck. Catching one of us in such a moment AND capturing the motion, energy, expression and human pageantry of the moment is a matter of skill.
