What makes us smile:
a change in season,
the loopiness of dogs,
a sliced banana in the cereal,
the eccentricities of friends,
warm sheets in the winter,
the absurd redness of strawberries,
completing the crossword in ink,
wanting to start the next chapter,
babies in hats,
a yellow umbrella,
two yellow umbrellas,
the smiles of other people,
this.
