Ripe

A pear tastes like summer and the end of summer. The breeze that blows through a pear orchard in spring tastes of the coming summer and the end of summer. The bottle of eau-de-vie de poire you drink by the fire in winter tastes of the breeze that blows through the orchard in spring.

A pear is a wonder to the senses; its color appeals to the eye, its shape pleases the hand, its scent delights the nose. But to truly know its wonder, to fully appreciate a pear, you must consume it. You must make it a part of you.

Eat a pear. Join the breeze that blows through the orchard. Enjoy summer and the end of summer.
