wonder

Eleven year old Harry Potter put his hands on the glass separating visitors to the Reptile House from a Burmese python…and the glass magically disappeared. Harry discovered he could speak with snakes. Young Wart, a precocious English orphan boy who would one day draw a magical sword from a stone to become Rightwise King Born of All England, put his hands on the glass containing an ant farm…and magically found himself inside the glass. Wart discovered he could speak with pismires.

That’s all it takes. Youth, innocence, curiosity, a pair of small hands pressed against a barrier…that’s all. That and a very little magic.

This boy may appear to be standing entranced by what he sees behind the glass. In fact, he’s inside the glass, conversing with the fish, swimming with them in perfect synchronicity.
