It’s that time of the morning when it feels like all the world is asleep except you.

Beside you someone snores gently like a whisper. In other rooms children dream of ice cream cones and cool blue seas.

Get up quietly, creep around, don’t wake another soul. Go towards the window but don’t switch on the lamp.

Take a moment of this day to simply wait while the sun rises and the buds of blue dawn blossom into yellow morning light.
