To prepare a face to meet the faces that you meet
Oh, J. Alfred, J. Alfred, you are such a putz. Why are you fretting about preparing a face? It’s not about time or about preparing your face; it’s not about you at all. It’s about the faces that you meet.
Meet Mary’s face. I don’t know Mary, but I’ve admired her work for a long time. Arroyo TV, the creepy doll, and the grand good luck of a window. I can’t recall the first time I saw Mary’s face, but I liked it immediately. It fits with her work. Strong work, often surprising, beautiful. Strong face, often surprising, beautiful.
This is the face you meet today. No preparation is necessary, J. Alfred, and none is wanted. This is Mary, and her face is the face we want on the first Utata Front Page of the new year. We like to start strong.
