Dining Room Dreaming

The table was here before the woman lay down on it, no doubt, but it looks instead as if she truly drifted off to sleep.

She drifted in oblivion from her bed, and wafted like a falling leaf downstairs. A pillow of lethargy cushioned her, an eiderdown of exhaustion blotted up her spilled body, and she settled where it was silky smooth, and her dreams would bring most nourishment.

This table was laid for a woman to lie on it.
