It’s 1985 and you’re on a road to nowhere.
You’re eighteen and in love with the wrong man. Your job sucks. Your parents are about to throw you out because you play the guitar loud late at night. Your best friend is flirting with your boyfriend, right now in front of your eyes. So you wave at the bus, and hop on the back, and you know you’ll never look back this way again.
You know where you’re going but you don’t know where you’ve been.
And you know what you’re knowing but you can’t say what you’ve seen.
You’re on a road to nowhere, and it’s allright, baby it’s allright.
