Snow fort

There’s so much made-up wisdom about the idea of play, as if we have to justify it. It gets handed over in the same greasy wrapper as the usual stuff about work, about the one begetting the other, about linear progression and longing.

But if you learn only one thing from me in your lifetime, let it be this: forget that silly polarity. To be a true master, you have to occupy both worlds at once, as if they were one. Bundle up in your innocence and your experience. Just make up an excuse to chuck at the blowhards, get out there, and be free.
