A long, long time ago there was a big bang, and the universe came from that. Sometimes I wonder if that bang has left us all a wee bit stunned and stupid, and maybe more than a little deaf.
That’s not necessarily a bad thing. Being bang-deaf also means we live in a sea of occasionally received silence. A small cay of calm and quiet, of which we sometimes take advantage. Our days are short and limited, it’s true, but only fools deprive themselves of the delicious peace of a nap. snatched on an old sofa.
