Alpine Pond Reflections
Under the White Spider, beneath the Eiger there is a clear, blue lake.
Up above the boiling cloud there may be summer skiers. Picnicking tourists. Train enthusiasts on their way to the highest railway station in Europe.
But here all we can see is glassy glacial water. Imagined solitude. Reflections of obscured mountains and worlds hidden from our view.
