Fresh bread with jam and selfie
Bread takes time and effort. You have to work a dough; knead it with vigour, then rest it. You have to shape it and give it proving time. Bread like love, takes time and effort.
Jam needs wisdom, heat and caution. Jam making requires a hot flame, good timing, a balance of sweetness and acidity. Be reckless with it and the burns will leave a persistent scar. Both love and jam will inevitably get messy.
So bread and jam must be the perfect pairing (anything else is yeastiality), as for selfies, it is a truly great time for some self love.
