And so it begins

All around, talk is turning to winter. While the summer heat and drought has barely had time to fade from our memories, the leaves are already falling.

Winds are whipping up, rain is lashing down in readiness to unleash another winter.

But mother nature, in her wisdom, is trying to make it easy on us. She’s sending leaves to the ground, but she’s coated them in the last of the summer sun. The colour of toffee apples sampled on a sandy beach. A reminder of the season that has just passed and a contrast with what’s to come.
