Seldon,

In Memorium

Life’s not all sunshine and rainbows — that much is true.

You might not get the girl, or buy the dream house. You might lose the dream house you spent your life savings on. Your whole world could go up in a puff of smoke or a raging flood. But while you were pining for the girl, maybe the love of your life was waiting in the wings. And that dream house had dry rot anyway. And a puff of smoke was an excuse to turn your life around and try something new.

So what if the film is out of date, the camera leaks light like a colander, and you use black and white chemicals on a colour film. Sometimes it’s precisely life’s imperfections, added together, that give you the opportunity to experience something wonderful.
