Crazy foggy day

It looks like the scene from a snow globe – a winter world all shaken up for a moment. All you can see are blurred outlines, shapes that you know to be trees, even though they might be frost on a window or ferns in a hothouse.

Fog is a tricky subject to capture – it slips away just as you take the shot, leaving you with background but no subject to put your focus on. It may be thick enough to cut with a knife, but your sensor cuts right through it as if it isn’t there.

A crazy foggy day might make it hard to focus on anything, but that can lead to wonderfully unexpected results.
