There’s a difference between being alone and being alone. One is a matter of circumstance; the other of choice. One is being doomed to the sofa while others are dancing; the other is reprieve from the endless quadrille of motion and noise.
From a distance, they can look the same. From a distance, our interpretation depends on our circumstance, on our choice.
