wild goose chase

this house

Some of us, those who can bake bread with ease, or cut our own hair, or are equally happy talking to ourselves as other people — those of us may be more suited to lockdown than the rest, who love shopping in a mall or crave human contact, or the freedom to do what we choose when we choose, or the solitude of wide open spaces.

If you can make a house from a ripped page, a few pebbles, and a leaf, as Fiona can, lockdown may suit you.

The rest of us, we can take note that a house can be built from these few simple things. That if we can’t get out to make art we just need to look at it in another way. Take a leaf from another book, leave no stone unturned.

We’ll find our way through this.
