Mary Jane 2040

company

This was going to be a soliloquy on solitude. A conversation on the companionship of cats. A treatise how a tiny virus has helped us slow down. Or made us slow down, depending on which way you look at it.

But no, this is not that.

This is about the beauty of the composition. The juxtaposition of cat and human. The stripes of the steps echoed by the patterns of the bricks. The curve on the door that (almost) makes up for the disappearance of the cat’s tail into the shadows.

Balanced, which is one of the ways that company should make you feel.
