motocchio

A wonder of shiny asphalt

It’s all there. The slick road surface constrained by white lines that glint in the darkness of a shadowed street.

The sliver of a building reflected in a puddle. the sinuous muscles of someone used to cycling.

The tilting view as the cyclist rounds a bend. A pedestrian ahead, and obstacle to be navigated as the sinewed cyclist emerges into sunlight.

You know it’s the right moment so you reach for your camera.

You take the shot.
