Iron Photographer 322

I had a dream*. You were chopping carnations into thirds. I did not find this strange, though when I woke up I realised the impossibility of it. You don’t even like carnations.

You were wearing a top hat and swimming googles. You asked me to smell the carnations, and I found that the scent of the middle section smelt of lemons, and the flower head reminded me of coal, though it did not smell of coal.

I said “something’s not right,” and you took off the top hat.

I was in a museum and I kept on walking, through room after room, but I could not find the carnations.

*Iron Photographer 322 challenge has the following elements:

1. Something used for a past-time or hobby

2. Something which smells good

3. A dreamy processing style
